In Memory of Chuck Smith
He preached at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa and taught on Pastor’s Perspective on the radio right up to the end. His heart, as always, was for the people of God.
10/3/2013: My beautiful, beloved, darling Daddy is in Heaven. He has heard the words, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.” Matthew 25:21 Thank you for your faithful prayers all these months.
Pastor Chuck Smith has gone to be with the LORD. He has entered into his reward and this is a blessed and wonderful day for him. Our prayers are with his family and the churches that will miss him so much.
He was battling lung cancer.
When a beloved pastor dies, everything else seems to fade away. Here, at Calvary Training, we need to continue on, however. Moments ago I posted about this being the first day of our Bible Drive. Consider reaching out to Calvary Chapel missionaries, helping them give the Word of God to the needy. Once again, we thank God for the life and ministry of Chuck Smith. With the death of Pastor Chuck, our hearts and prayers go out to the family and the church.
